HOW TO CONTACT OR MAKE A BASIC QSO CW

Pretend that your call is: YOU

You can then call on appropriate frequencies as follows:

"CQ CQ CQ DE YOU YOU YOU K"

Someone answers the call: OTHER this way:

"YOU DE OTHER OTHER KN"

YOU resumed their change, health, signals and data passed to the correspondent.

"OTHER DE YOU = GRS FER CALL = RST 5NN 599 =
NAME PEPE PEPE = QTH CITY CITY HW"

It happens so change the correspondent:

"OTHER DE YOU KN"

The returns to YOU OTHER:

"YOU OF OTHER = QSL BT PEPE YOUR RST 579 = 57N
= MY NAME IS GUILLE GUILLE  = QTH  CITY CITY YOU DE OTHER KN

YOU now once again has to change and may end the QSO:
"OTHER DE YOU GRS GUILLE FER QSO = 73/DX = OTHER DE YOUR YOU EE"

And your correspondent also ended the QSO:

"YOU DE OTHER = FB = 73/DX YOU DE OTHER E E"

This was a basic shape for a single QSO, which could have variations and YOU can use to start making their first contacts in CW.
